2024 Mid-Year Meeting | In Review

The TMPAA 2024 Mid-Year Meeting brought over 1,200 attendees to Tampa for three days filled with deal-making, networking, entertainment, and more. Keynote speaker, Diana Nyad dove into her inspiring swim journey, while Greg Case spoke on the industry. Other sessions included accessing student talent, how to protect your business, preparing for nature's fury, and more.

Online donations of $50 or more to TMPAA Charities during the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting were entered to win a 3-night stay at the Westin Kierland. The lucky winner was Jim McErlean of One80 Intermediaries.

Program Business Professional Designation

TMPAA has partnered with The Institutes to provide the new Program Business Professional™ (PBP) designation.

The PBP curriculum encompasses program-specific content and incorporates courses from the CPCU® designation. This comprehensive approach ensures a dynamic learning experience for professionals seeking advancement in Program Business, while also earning credit towards additional Institutes designations. The TMPAA is committed to fully subsidizing the coursework needed to attain the PBP for all Program Administrator members if completed by October 2025.

London is Calling!

Tysers, working with the TMPAA, is proud to sponsor the 10th Annual Targeting Talent Trophy, providing one individual from a Program Administrator member of the Association with a 10-day educational experience in London.

 

The selected applicant will leave London with a comprehensive understanding of how Program Business is transacted in the London market, spending time with the Tysers’ broking team and various Lloyd’s syndicates. There will be a focus on all aspects of transacting Program Business in London from client introduction through placement to accounting and claims.
