The 24th Annual TMPAA Summit brought nearly 1,700 attendees to Scottsdale for three days of deal-making, networking, education, charity, and entertainment. Keynote speaker, Joan Woodward provided an economic, public policy and political outlook while Robert Hartwig, PhD, delivered an in-depth look at the P/C insurance industry’s performance and trajectory. Other sessions focused on issues including recruiting new talent, AI in the program space, mitigation strategies, and a Lloyd's Open House.

CPL and PBP Recipients Announced at Summit
|
The TMPAA recognized three individuals for attaining the Certified Programs Leader (CPL) designation during the Summit. Peter Kampf, Cindy Shin, and Karen Holtz completed the required Target University courses and met program and industry experience expectations set out by the Association. More than 200 CPLs have been awarded from 2012-2024.
Moving forward, the Program Business Professional (PBP) designation, administered by The Institutes, will formally recognize the unique skill set of program specialists. Since its launch in May, 13 members have earned the PBP designation.
