The TMPAA convenes in Tampa for the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting. Expect access to 80+ program carriers including London Markets, premier service providers, reinsurance support, program development and distribution resources, and networking opportunities with more than 1,000 program business professionals.

NOTE: Two hotels will be utilized for the Mid-Year Meeting and rooms blocks are available in both. The Marriott Water Street is considered the main event hotel but select sessions will take place in the JW Marriott. The hotels are connected by a third floor sky bridge for easy access to both spaces.

New TMPAA President Starts Term
|
|
Tom Gillingham takes the helm as TMPAA President. Tom is Head of Programs for Totalis Program Underwriters, an NFP brand that includes 17 distinct programs representing $750 million in annual gross written premiums. He graduated from Baylor University where he studied marketing and risk management. He has served in an advisory board capacity for philanthropic organizations and for the Colorado chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Tom has been active on the TMPAA Advisory Board since 2016.

Diana Nyad to Keynote Mid-Year Meeting
|
|
|
|
World Champion Athlete, Diana Nyad, is set to speak at the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting. 25 million people worldwide rooted for Diana Nyad as she reached the Florida shore, at long last achieving her 35-year-old quest of becoming the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida.
“NYAD”, a feature film based on Diana’s life, was released in fall 2023 starring Annette Bening, Jodie Foster, and directed by Academy Award winners Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi (Free Solo).

Welcome, Krista Hardy

We are happy to welcome Krista Hardy to the TMPAA team as Membership Development Specialist. She brings over a decade of customer service and community partnership management experience to her new role. Krista has a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University.

Online registration for the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting Trade Show opens on Febraury 5. Space is limited! The room diagram and additional information will appear in the Trade Show category on the meeting page at that time.
For planning purposes, set up will be available on Sunday. May 12 from 4-6 p.m. or on Monday morning prior to 9 a.m.
