2021 Mid-Year Meeting

May 3-5 | Tampa, FL

Please hold the date for the 2021 Mid-Year Meeting at the Marriott Tampa Water Street. It is our intention to hold an in-person meeting May 3-5, 2021 with all required safety precautions in place. Registration for the event will begin in January.

As with our two previous meetings, should conditions force us to cancel, we will move swiftly to refund all registrations.

Add a registration reminder to your calendar.

Thank You for Your Support

We would like to recognize the generosity of TMPAA members and friends who donated over $20,000 this year to TMPAA Charities. With the matching contribution from Breckenridge Group of $15,000, we were able to compensate for the cancellation of our fundraising golf tournament in October and uphold our commitments to fund multiple scholarships at three universities with Insurance & Risk Management programs.

We were also able to continue supporting our packages from home initiative, delivering care packages to U.S. active duty military around the world.

Here is proof that your donations have made a difference.

Click here for more photos from troops who received our care packages and make a pledge to support TMPAA Charities.

 2020 Mid-Year Meeting – Novel Coronavirus Update

The Association is developing precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all 2020 Mid-Year Meeting attendees.

As of March 3, 2020, the following protocols have been established:

  • Hotel staff will disinfect anything a traveler would touch frequently, this can include but is not limited to, the call buttons in elevators, light switches, door handles, toilets, telephones and the reception counter several times each day during the event.
  • Sanitizer and tissues will be provided during the event throughout the meeting spaces and common areas.
  • A no handshake policy will be encouraged.
  • Hotel staff will serve food items, minimizing use of common serving implements.
  • Attendees who are not well are urged not to attend.

We understand that individuals in high risk groups may make the informed decision not to attend. The TMPAA will work with these members to help mitigate their losses and make the connections inside our group they require to run and/or improve their business.

Both the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have posted safety recommendations you should review.  You can expect updates to our planning as new information becomes available.
