NFP Names Tom Gillingham, Leader of Specialty MGA, MGU

July 13, 2020 - NFP Corp. named Tom Gillingham to lead specialty managing general agent and managing general underwriter programs, the broker said in a statement Tuesday.

In this newly created role, Mr. Gillingham will focus on driving growth across NFP’s expanding specialty businesses. He had been a managing director with the company.

Mr. Gillingham will continue to report to Henry Lombardi, executive vice president and head of NFP property/casualty, and be based in Seattle.

Programs he will oversee include auto services, commercial surety, equity protection, ProTek (medical devices), EverGuard, Hole-In-One, cross border and outdoor recreation, the statement said.

“NFP is fully committed to advancing our specialty programs and we continue to invest in people, resources and expertise to support this commitment,” Mr. Lombardi said in the statement.

NFP was 13th in the most recent Business Insurance ranking of the top 100 U.S. brokers.
