National Meetings

How does the Association assist in pinpointing carriers that entertain the risks that PAs market?
The TMPAA provides carrier information centers that detail the program parameters of the carriers and the risks that they will/will not entertain. The carrier member list and complete information in available as a logged in member. Click here to learn more about the TMPAA Carrier members.

How does the Association assist in setting up meetings at the event?
The TMPAA provides a few resources for setting up meetings. Attendees lists, containing full contact information, are emailed to all registrants before the event and updated every two weeks for personal contact. We also provide an online form to submit meeting requests to the carrriers.  Click here to send a Carrier meeting request.

What type of attire is appropriate at the annual meetings?
Attire at the meetings is business casual.

Is there a listing of future events?
Yes. Please click here for the Association's calendar.

What sponsorship opportunities are available?
We encourage sponsorship as an effective method of promoting your unique specialty program expertise and track record. Opportunities include networking events, ads in our meeting publication and much more. Where can I find information on other members of the group?
While logged in to the TMPAA site, information on all members of the group can be accessed through the Member Lists menu at the top of the site.

How do I login to the website?   
In the header of the TMPAA website, find the username and password fields. Enter the credentials provided to you upon application approval. If you don’t have credentials and are a TMPAA member, click ‘Create Account’ to set them up. Note: your username must be a company email address. 

Target Programs

What does enrollment in Target Programs provide?
The TMPAA will build an Outlet Center for your product line on TargetPrograms.com where retail agents can search for specific programs of our members. In addition, we will email your product announcements to our databases of retail agents nationwide. Click here for more information.

How much is the annual fee for enrolling in Target Programs?
The annual fee for Target Programs is $2,500.

Can the TMPAA distribute additional e-ads?

How do I evaluate my program operation?

A key initiative of the TMPAA is promoting excellence among program administrators. A fundamental aspect of this involves implementing a uniform protocol and criteria to assess the business operations of PA members.

To facilitate this assessment, the TMPAA provides the Best Practice Self-Audit Tool, an invaluable resource for members. 

Program Education

How do I attain the Program Business Professional™ (PBP) designation?

TMPAA, in pursuit of its mission to promote Best Practices in program administration, elevate the status of Program Business in the insurance industry, and recognize the specialized skill sets of Program Specialists, has partnered with The Institutes to provide the Program Business Professional™ (PBP) designation.

The PBP curriculum encompasses program-specific content and incorporates courses from the CPCU® designation. This comprehensive approach ensures a dynamic learning experience for professionals seeking advancement in Program Business, while also earning credit towards additional Institutes Designations.
