Beyond Risk’s Origin Specialty Underwriters Agency has partnered with its sister company GPW & Associates to launch Origin Captive Solutions, aimed at providing middle-market companies with expanded risk management solutions.

Led by managing director Daniel Rossen, the division’s initial focus will bring property solutions backed by AM Best-rated paper, allowing captives to assume risk while meeting most lender requirements.

Founded in 2018, Origin Specialty is an MGA primarily serving the restaurant, hospitality, and construction industries.

GPW & Associates, also a Beyond Risk company, specialises in risk management, offering captive and reinsurance management, accounting, tax compliance, and actuarial services.

“We are excited to use Origin Captive Solutions to enable these clients to take risk rather than trading dollars with an insurance carrier,” said Rossen.

Neno Djordjevic, president of Origin Specialty, added, “The combination of Origin Captive Solutions and GPW Associates brings decades of creative insurance solutions experience– especially in the field of captive creation, management, and underwriting.”
