To qualify for and maintain Carrier Membership, carriers must meet the following criteria:

• Grant delegated underwriting authority to one or more Program Administrators
• Maintain an AM Best financial strength rating of A- or better
  • Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of the TMPAA Advisory Board
• Support a minimum of two (2) existing programs, as defined by the Association
  • Exceptions may be granted by the TMPAA Advisory Board
• Provide representation at both the Mid-Year Meeting and Annual Summit
  • Refer to TMPAA meeting dates for details
• Demonstrate active participation in the Association, which may include one or more of the following:
  • Sponsorship support of a TMPAA event
  • Membership on a TMPAA committee
  • Providing speakers for educational sessions
  • Offering workshops or educational programming ideas
• Demonstrate a willingness to promote TMPAA to existing Program Administrators and refer qualified organizations for membership
• Maintain an up-to-date profile in the Carrier Search Portal on the TMPAA website
• Provide timely responses to member program submissions
• Adhere to the TMPAA Code of Conduct
• Submit full payment of membership dues as invoiced on the membership anniversary date
