BI – October 11, 2013 – Private-equity-owned brokerage and program manager Venbrook Group LLC said Wednesday it has formed a national higher education division that will take a holistic approach to risk management for K-12 schools, universities, faculty, staff and students.

The unit will be headed by executive vice president Alison Myers, Woodland Hills, California-based Venbrook said in its statement.

Mike Conway, formerly regional vice president, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, has been named head of strategy and business development for the new unit.

Venbrook named former Aon PLC executive Juan Aguilar as its chief financial officer in May.
