New York, N.Y. – August 11, 2016 – VALE Insurance Partners, a program administrator and managing general agent focused on specialized insurance programs, today announced it has hired Lidore Alexandra DeRose as Vice President and Underwriter.

DeRose is joining VALE’s transactional risk team and will focus on underwriting and marketing the firm’s rep & warranty insurance products.

“We are thrilled to have Lidore join our transactional risk team,” said Jamie Sahara, CEO of VALE. “Her experience and expertise as an M&A attorney and rep & warranty insurance underwriter will be a valuable addition to our already exceptional team.”

DeRose comes to VALE from Concord Specialty Risk, where she served as Senior Underwriting Counsel. Prior to her role there, Lidore practiced law for 10 years as a corporate attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and DLA Piper. While practicing, she advised both corporate and private equity clients on numerous M&A transactions and led teams responsible for the primary due diligence and negotiation of the transaction documents.

Lidore received a JD from the New York University School of Law. She also holds a BSE and MSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
