September 24, 2018 – Swiss Re, a leading wholesale provider of reinsurance, insurance and other insurance-based forms of risk transfer, has appointed Andreas Berger as head of its Corporate Solutions business and member of the group executive committee.
The appointment will be effective from April 1, 2019.
Berger will replace Agostino Galvagni.
Currently, Berger serves at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty SE as its chief regions and markets officer and member of the board of management. He has also worked with Gerling and The Boston Consulting Group.
