Murray will assume responsibility for the pricing of new business and renewals, leading the GCA underwriting team, coordinating involvement with other departments and acting as the primary point of contact for producers and associates interested in the GCA program. “With more than 25 years of insurance underwriting experience to his credit, Bob will help promote our product and service for this niche industry and create long-term success,” said Troy Markel, president of Glatfelter Commercial Ambulance. “Bob brings a level of technical ability and customer service orientation that will immediately assist us in growing the GCA program,” said Ed Williams, senior vice president and program manager of GCA. Murray holds an Associate in Underwriting (AU) designation and is currently pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He is a Shippensburg University alumnus, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.
