In 2016, he had the vision to create a multi-line MGA that is hedged against economic swings and provides carrier partners and their reinsurers with more profitable insurance programs. Forward thinking, Matt has built a company that leverages advanced technology and data science for improved underwriting, user experience, and pricing. Acquired by KKR in 2021, ISC wrote more than $750 million of premium in 2024, across 12 verticals with over 200K binds.

Matt’s prior experience includes starting and selling a multi-line brokerage and consulting for several private equity firms. In addition, Matt was the CEO of another private-equity-backed $250 million MGA.
