Second Generation Assuming New Responsibilities – William G. Coté Promoted to VP

East Aurora, NY, September 14, 2015:  Underwriting manager and wholesale broker Greene & Associates today announced the promotion of Jennifer L. Greene to President.  William H. (Bill) Greene III will retain the title of CEO and adds Chairman to his title.  Bill Greene founded Greene & Associates almost 30 years ago as a specialty insurance brokerage with a strong emphasis on in-­depth underwriting and relationship building.

“It is extremely gratifying to see my daughter dedicate her career to continuing a strong family tradition of providing quality insurance coverage and sound underwriting principles to support our producers and companies,” said CEO Bill Greene. “When Jennifer first joined our firm in 2000, she brought a business degree from John Carroll University and solid experience working in New York City’s financial district.  Jennifer has worked in every single department of the company and, in 2004, she added an MBA degree from St. Bonaventure University to her professional resume.”

(Wil) Coté to Vice President.  For 29 years, Coté has worked closely with Bill Greene in underwriting operations and broker relations and is a past president of the Professional Insurance Wholesalers Association of New York State, Inc. (PIWA).
