Kennesaw, GA, Dec. 4, 2013 — Breckenridge Insurance Group announced the hiring of Stephen Kelley as a senior vice president of its Blue River Underwriters program administration division. Kelley will direct business development from Blue River’s newly established Chicago operation.

In his most recent position as regional vice president for SeaBright Insurance Company, Kelley was responsible for the national business development field staff operations, and while with AmTrust North America from 2006-2010, he served in various management capacities, including divisional president.

Prior to AmTrust, Kelley was president of Muirfield Underwriters, a large national workers compensation managing general underwriter owned by Aon, the world’s largest broker. His professional experience with Aon goes back to 1990. Steve has built managing general underwriters from the ground up, exponentially growing operations and differentiating them with world-class service.
