BI – February 22, 2022 – Toronto-based cyber insurtech Boxx Insurance Inc. said Tuesday it has named Phil Baker, who had been board chairman and head of broker relations of Beazley Canada, as president of Boxx Canada. 

Mr. Baker joined Beazley when it acquired Creechurch International Underwriters Ltd. in 2017.

The managing general agency, which is privately held, also said it has added Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. and Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. as insurance partners.
