Bill Mecklenburg is the Senior Managing Director of Alliant Underwriting Solutions, an organization that underwrites over $3.5 billion of niche oriented gross written premium through a team of over 400 industry professionals that has consistently delivered double digit growth and strong underwriting results.  Bill was previously the President of SES Risk Solutions and Preferred Concepts.  Bill also served as CEO of Redwoods Managers, Inc. and the COO of The Redwoods Group, a specialty insurance organization that The Wall Street Journal and the nonprofit organization Winning Workplaces selected as one of the Top Small Workplaces. Bill graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.  Bill is a board member of the Children’s Craniofacial Association, TMPAA Charities, and the IICF. He previously served on the board of the Orange County United Way, and he was a founding board member of The Redwoods Group Foundation.
