April 23, 2014 (Austin, TX) – Service Lloyds Insurance Company has made their underwriters very happy due to the use of a new technology product, “Appulate”. The technology gives Service Lloyds underwriters a tool to electronically upload completed ACORD forms directly into their policy administration system without the need to key in the data by hand.

Appulate is an insurance technology company from California that has developed a way to convert ACORD forms into a structured data format. The ACORD forms are submitted to Service Lloyds via email and then automatically converted and uploaded. “The result is 90% time savings,” said Larry Flajnik, Senior Developer and Project Manager at Service Lloyds Insurance Company. “.  Before Appulate, our underwriters manually entered Workers’ Comp applications into our system, but now our underwriters use Appulate to electronically submit the ACORD applications into our system,” added Flajnik.
