Dayton, Ohio, November 17, 2016 – Norman-Spencer Agency announced today that, Kevin Roggenbuck, owner of Lake Union Sea Ray, won the 2016 SCCA National Championship Runoffs.
Norman-Spencer has sponsored the Formula 1000 racing team for Lake Union, a large watercraft dealer and a long-time insurance customer of Norman-Spencer’s Marine Insurance Services division.
2016 marked the 53rd annual run of the prestigious amateur road racing event. The SCCA National Championship Runoffs was held on September 19-25, 2016 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
“Kevin has been a long-time partner of Norman-Spencer, and his hard work and dedication to winning the championship also shows in his successful business operations. I couldn’t imagine a more deserving person,” said Brian Norman. “We are extremely proud to be a sponsor of the entire Lake Union Sea Ray Racing Team and excited they get to take the championship home!”
The pro course consisted of 13 turns along a 2.258-mile configuration. Roggenbuck was able to take and keep a strong lead for most of the race, after capitalizing on an opening at the start.
