East Aurora, NY, March 14, 2016:  As an underwriting manager and wholesale broker in its 30th year of business, Greene & Associates based in East Aurora, NY, prides itself on in-depth underwriting for its three in-house commercial umbrella facilities.

Adding to that underwriting expertise, Greene announced this week the opening of a satellite office in Glastonbury, CT and the hiring of Scott Perry to its underwriting team.

Perry adds over 40 years of underwriting experience to the Greene team, spending the last 23 years working for Great American Insurance.

“I have been doing business with Greene for over 25 years and have always known it to be a quality agency,” Perry said. “I intend to market to new and existing agents in the New England and Greater New York City areas. I’m very excited to be joining Greene.”

Before working with Great American, Perry spent several years working for Montgomery & Collins and before that with Swett & Crawford. Along with holding his CPCU designation, Perry is a proud graduate of Princeton University.

The opening of the Connecticut office is a first for Greene, which has called Western New York home since its inception in 1986. In that time Greene & Associates has become highly regarded for their work and experience in the Umbrella and Excess Liability market sector. The firm currently writes business in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
