CHICAGO, ILâ€â€October 30, 2015: The Employment Practices Risk Management Association (EPRMA) today announced a major enhancement to its website (www.eprma.org), with three new employment practices training courses designed to help employers train their senior staff on compliance issues and play a role in controlling the severity of workplace claim submissions.ÂÂ
As marketplace risk exposures expand, EPRMA, an affiliate of Edgewater Holdings, now offers enhanced online information and interactive training to augment existing risk management services.  Also, beginning today and continuing through the end of 2015, EPRMA is offering a free trial enrollment to any website visitor without formal company registration.
The new EPRMA website debuts a video overview as well as short video introductions to the site’s four major employer training venues: Employment Practices, Cyber Security, Harassment and Discrimination and Child Safety. EPRMA has also partnered with industry leading expert, The McCalmon Group, for pertinent articles and information feeds as well as additional online courses through a licensing agreement.
EPRMA is a non-profit Risk Purchasing Group that provides sophisticated online training for employers and their senior management teams. Founded in 2006, EPRMA is dedicated to helping its members understand workplace liability challenges through research and best practices evaluation. ÂÂ
Senior legal adviser and EPRMA board member, Martin LaPointe, Esq. said, “Our organization has devoted considerable time and energy to build this content-rich site for EPRMA members and prospective members. We are excited to augment the Association’s successful Helpline Services with a recent partnership with Jack McCalmon and his team. McCalmon’s partnership provides a complementary knowledge base, enabling us to offer state-of-the-art online training in the vitally important areas of Child Safety and Cyber Security.â€Â
The EPRMA website also offers an extensive resource of employer information and employment practice related web links. National organization sites such as Department of Labor, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and a listing of all U.S. states that allow insurability for punitive damages, together with unique state compliance laws and case studies, are available.
Mark Kollar, EPRMA founder and President of Edgewater, Holdings, Ltd. said, “Our partnership with Northbrook, IL-based LaPointe Law gives us expertise and experience in a broad range of EPLI risk exposures. Over the years they have provided thousands of hours of Helpline support to our members. We are also fortunate to be partnering with New York City-based law firm, Wilson Elser, which offers our members extensive legal insight into the rapidly growing field of cyber security practices and handles our Cyber Protection Helpline.†ÂÂ

About EPRMA
The Employment Practices Risk Management Association provides research and development into employer compliance training for harassment and discrimination in the workplace as well as best practices for Cyber Security. Comply America, EPRMA’s predecessor, developed its signature online compliance training and earned the endorsement of the EEOC in 2002 following a landmark discrimination ruling in the U.S. District Court of Northern Illinois. Recognizing the ever changing needs of its membership, EPRMA has released an online interactive training module for Wage & Hour exposures for a premier fast food franchise restaurant. Today’s additional online training puts EPRMA at the forefront of proactive employment practices training. Learn more at www.eprma.org ÂÂ
