Guest Speaker: Greg Williams, Managing Director, AM Best
Greg Williams is a managing director at AM Best, an independent insurance information and rating service provider. He is currently responsible for managing teams of senior analysts that prepare financial rating proposals for commercial and specialty companies, as well as Canada-based companies. Since joining AM Best in 2006, Greg has held various positions in AM Best’s ratings division. Greg was also instrumental in the development and launch of Best’s Performance Assessment for Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises in 2022. Greg serves as a standing senior member of the AM Best rating committee. Prior to joining AM Best, Greg was a senior finance manager at Allstate Insurance Company, where he led a team of financial analysts. Previously, Greg held various positions in the finance and claims departments of Allstate in New Jersey and Illinois. Greg holds a B.A. from the College of New Jersey and an MBA in finance from Monmouth University.
