Pittsburgh, PA – January 3rd: Allied Insurance Brokers is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff McGeary, Allied’s Executive Vice President, as Secretary on the Florida Crane Owners’ Council (FCOC).

Within this role, Mr. McGeary will be responsible for taking the minutes at quarterly meetings and will also serve as webmaster for FCOC’s website. Allied donates the cost of FCOC’s website on an annual basis.

Mr. McGeary’s appointment is in line with Allied’s mission to be a leader and trusted advisor within its niche industries, which include crane, scaffold, rental equipment, party goods, wood products, and non-profits. “I look forward to working with the board on increasing membership, promoting safety, and navigating Florida legislation issues.” said Mr. McGeary.

With Allied since 1990, Mr. McGeary is a minority shareholder, a member of Allied’s Board of Directors and a management team member. In addition to developing and maintaining a large book of specialty crane, concrete pumper, equipment rental and scaffolding industry insureds, Mr. McGeary also manages Allied’s sales and support staff.

Joining Mr. McGeary on FCOC’s Executive Committee include Chairman Randy Strickland, Vice Chair Jim Bryson, Treasurer Hugo Verez, Managing Director John Wessel, and Immediate Past Chair William Hershner.
