The Target Markets Program Administrator Association (TMPAA) recognized seven members for attaining the Certified Programs Leader (CPL) Designation during the 2017 Mid-Year Meeting in Arlington, VA.

Recipients of the CPL Designation completed and passed required Target University courses, and met program and industry experience expectations set out by the Association. “The mission of Target University and the CPL Designation is also the overarching goal of the Association, which is to promote best practices in program administration,” stated Tony Campisi, TMPAA President.  “The CPL Designation recognizes the specialized skill sets of program administrators. The fact that we now have almost 100 members with the designation speaks to its value.”

CPL Designation recipients included David Harnois, Poonam Kapoor, Kathleen Luther, Bonnie Muir, Joshua Cipri, Mark Steen and Moira Price. 

“My involvement with the University and the CPL Designation continues to be a great honor,” indicated Greg Thompson, TMPAA Past President and University Dean. “All of our CPL recipients demonstrate their mastery with the crucial aspects of successful program administration covered in the required coursework and have a solid resume of work in programs. I am proud to be associated with them all.”

The Target Markets Program Administrators Association (TMPAA) awarded ProHost USA the Association’s Best Practice Designation at their recent Mid-Year Meeting in Arlington, VA. Ascinsure Specialty Risk was also recognized for completing their second Best Practice Recertification, required every three years to maintain the integrity of the Designation.

“One of this Association’s missions is to promote excellence in Program Administration and enhance the status of program business in the insurance industry,” stated Tony Campisi, TMPAA President and President of Glatfelter Insurance Group. “We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our members who function at the highest level, demonstrating expertise in all phases of Program Administration. Our new Best Practice Designation recipient, ProHost USA, exemplifies this model.”

ARA Insurance, Coastal Insurance Underwriters and Glatfelter Insurance Group were also recognized for completing the Best Practice Recertification, required every three years to maintain the integrity of the Designation.

The Association’s 17th Annual Summit was attended by more than 800 program business professionals. The Keynote presentation was provided by Space Shuttle Commander Captain Mark Kelly.
