10 Day Educational Assignment in London

Tysers, working with the TMPAA, is proud to sponsor the "Targeting Talent Trophy" which looks to provide a selected individual, from a Program Administrator member of the Association, the opportunity to travel to London for a 10 day educational assignment during the spring of 2014.

The selected applicant will leave London with a comprehensive understanding of how Program Business is transacted in the London market, spending time with the Tysers' broking team and various Lloyd's syndicates. There will be a focus on all aspects of transacting Program Business in London from client introduction through placement to accounting and claims.

This educational assignment is targeting applicants with:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with a Program Administrator
  • Potential future carrier relationship responsibilities
  • Interest in broadening their experience to include knowledge of the London Market 

Sponsorship will include flights to London, transfers and accommodation for the duration of the stay.

TMPAA members interested in this opportunity will need to complete the Targeting Talent Trophy Application and submit by September 13. Based on individual responses, the top 10 applications will be selected. From this group of 10, one application will be randomly selected as the 2013 Targeting Talent Trophy winner. The winner will be announced at the 13th Annual Summit in October.

As with previous studies, all individual responses will be kept confidential. The results of this study will be discussed at the 13th Annual Summit in Scottsdale, AZ (October 21-23).

Need a new Corporate Photo?

Still using that photo with a full head of hair, the absence of wrinkles, holding your high school diploma?  Help is on the way.

The TMPAA has made arrangements to have a professional photographer at the October Summit to take that corporate headshot you need for print media, websites, LinkedIn, and all other media that requires your image.  The Association will email you the high resolution file following the event.

A two hour window will be available on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  Interested parties will be assigned a time slot, so no more than a few minutes away from your business meetings will be required.

July 25, 2013 - ProHost USA, a Minneapolis-based program administrator, has added a new data breach coverage endorsement to its package programs for fine dining, family dining and fast casual restaurants. The endorsement, written on admitted paper, is available immediately in 28 states with more states to be added in the coming weeks.

Morristown, New Jersey, July 16, 2013 – Cover-All (NYSE MKT:COVR), announced today that three carriers have selected to upgrade to the new Cover-All Policy to handle their commercial auto and commercial package (including property, general liability, inland marine and crime) lines of business.

July 12, 2013 - Encino, CA: Today, NAS Insurance announces the availability of the general liability insurance program for Long Term Care facilities on an occurrence basis. In addition, sexual misconduct coverage (up to $2 million) and evacuation expense coverage can each be added by endorsement.

July 11, 2013 -The Public Servants Defense Agency (PSDA) has broadened coverage available to retirees allowed to carry firearms under the Law Enforcement Officer’s Safety Act (LEOSA). As a result of this product enhancement, PSDA’s LEOSA Self-Defense Plan provides both defense and indemnity protection in the event of a covered loss.
