Buyer's Marketplace:

The TMPAA Buyer's Marketplace has been designed to assist Association Members who are considering selling their agency or book of business, and would like to confidentially review a list of potential buyers who are also members of the group.

The TMPAA Buyer's Marketplace will post information submitted by members that detail the type of purchase and program characteristic sought, as well as information about that agency’s/ company’s culture. 

The TMPAA is providing this marketplace as a service to members, and has no involvement in any resulting transactions.  The Association is not responsible for the content of the posted buyer information.  Any contacts or business transacted as a result of these postings is solely the business of the two parties involved in the discussion.

This is a fee based service, a portion of which will support TMPAA Charities.

Program Employment Bulletin Board:

The TMPAA Employment Bulletin Board will post information submitted by member agencies/companies that detail positions they are seeking to fill.  Individuals will have the ability to confidentially review a list of employment opportunities posted by members of the group.

The TMPAA is providing the Employment Bulletin Board as a service to members, and has no involvement in any resulting employment transactions.  The Association is not responsible for the content of the posted position descriptions.  Any contacts or business transacted as a result of these postings is solely the business of the two parties involved in the discussion.

This is a fee based service, a portion of which will support TMPAA Charities.

12th Annual Summit 

The “Carrier Meet and Greet” event is once again planned for this year's Summit, scheduled immediately following the  General Session on Tuesday, October 30 at 10:30 am.  This event will ensure that Program Administrator attendees will be able to connect with all of our carrier members.  It has been refered to as the "speed dating" portion of the Summit. 

Our traditional carrier meetings will still occur later that same afternoon for more formal exploration of program business opportunities.

All attendees are encouraged to use the Online Meeting Request available on the TMPAA site, and explore the posted appetites of all our carrier companies.  

Expect more information about the Carrier Meet and Greet event in the coming weeks. Plan to meet your next program business partner at this event at the Summit.

With the assitance of the recently formed Program Business Study committee, the 2012 version of the study questionnaire is in final development. 

TMPAA members can expect to recieve the survey via email in July.

The 2012 study is sponsored by Association members Scottsdale Insurance Company and Western Heritage Insurance Company.


The objective of this research is to provide the program industry with information that documents trends in the size and dynamics of the program business market. TMPAA member Advisen will be conducting the study. 

Our goal is to have all TMPAA members participate.  The results will provide valuable tools to assist with your future program business planning.  Full results will only be available to TMPAA members.

   Town Hall Follow Up


Feedback was overwhelmingly positive about the recent Town Hall event at the 2012 Mid Year Meeting.  Future Town Hall meetings are being planned to provide more opportunities to hear how your peers run successful program business operations.
