Have you accessed the Carrier Search Portal?

In an effort to bring greater efficiency to the market-finding process for members, Target Markets launched the Carrier Search Portal (CSP). Since this is only available to members, you will need to sign in to access as you normally do to view member lists and details. Please contact us if you do not know your log in.

The State of Program Business

Target Markets members discuss the program industry segment with A.M. Best

The program insurance business has been growing, both in premium and scope. Program administrators, carriers, brokers and agents face a range of challenges, including increased competition, a fast moving environment for mergers and acquisitions, market pressures for new offerings and platforms, and other issues.

TriFit Business Development

Organic growth can be elusive but is not impossible. TriFit achieved a 20 to 1 revenue return during 2015 with a TMPAA member. What is our secret? Turning your “desk” underwriters into “production” underwriters. Imagine an underwriting department that maintains profitability while growing your business 30%! You too can achieve that kind of return. Learn more about developing your underwriters into “Super Underwriters” and recruiting the next generation who have the right amount of “Sales DNA” to be one of your top producers.

Our services include: Organizational sales assessment, recruiting, leadership training, and sales development for producers and non-sales professionals.

  Program Benchmarking
Questions

In early May we requested our PA members to answer four “one-click” questions to determine interest in a program operations benchmarking study.

If you did not have the opportunity to provide your feedback, here is one more opportunity.

This is not the Program Business Study. The benchmarking study would be a quantitative measurement of key PA areas of performance. Benchmarks would include profit margin, revenue per employee, and key expense items as a percentage of revenues like systems, marketing, sales and payroll. The study would be conducted by a third party vendor with strict confidentiality protocols.
