Third Annual TMPAA Marketing Campaign Competition

Once again, the TMPAA is teaming up with the highly regarded Insurance Marketing & Communication Association (IMCA) to offer all TMPAA Program Administrator Members the opportunity to submit their best marketing campaigns.

  • Program Administrator Members are encouraged to submit one or more entries prior to April 1.
  • Entries must include a minimum of two communication vehicles that share a common campaign theme.
  • Total campaigns must have been in the marketplace between 1/1/12 and 3/15/13.

Now is the time to start reviewing this past-year’s marketing campaigns and decide which initiative or initiatives will be your operation’s best entry for the TMPAA Program Marketing Campaign Award competition. Three winning campaigns will be announced at the Mid Year Meeting.

The TMPAA Buyer's Marketplace has been designed to assist Association Members who are considering selling their agency or book of business, and would like to confidentially review a list of potential buyers who are also members of the group.

The TMPAA Buyer's Marketplace will post information submitted by members that detail the type of purchase and program characteristic sought, as well as information about that agency's/ company's culture.

The TMPAA is providing this marketplace as a service to members, and has no involvement in any resulting transactions.  The Association is not responsible for the content of the posted buyer information.  Any contacts or business transacted as a result of these postings is solely the business of the two parties involved in the discussion.

This is a fee based service, a portion of which will support TMPAA Charities.

2013 Mid Year Meeting
May 6-8, 2013
Baltimore, MD

The TMPAA moves back to Baltimore for the 2013 Mid Year Meeting. Along with the expected Program Business opportunities, former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman, Admiral Mike Mullen (Ret.), will share his belief that our financial health is directly related to national security.  Admiral Mullen will focus on cyber threats that affect the insurance industry and business in general.

We expect over 600 Program Business Professionals to attend this meeting, including decision makers from our 54 Program Carriers. The recent release of the 2012 Program Business Study and new Certified Programs Leader Designation continues to put the TMPAA at the epicenter of this industry segment. If you make your living in programs you will want to attend the 2013 TMPAA Mid Year Meeting – “Where Program Business Gets Done.”

12th Annual Summit Wrap Up
(in case you missed it)

The 12th Annual TMPAA Summit provided the expected networking, education and program business opportunities despite the impact of the east coast storm that prevented a significant number of registered attendees from participating.

Best Practice Designations were awarded to Fulcrum Insurance and Coastal Insurance Underwriters, and the results of the second annual Program Business Study were released to the group. The Association also awarded its first CPL (Certified Programs Leader) Designations to 8 members of the TMPAA.
