 October 2011  -  SUMMIT EDITION

 Eleventh Annual Summit Checklist

Here are a few details to help maximize your time at the Summit:

Meet me under the TMPAA Banner – If you are coordinating meetings at the event, here is the best spot to connect.  Tell your business partners to meet in front of the Vaquero Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency under the TMPAA Banner.  A networking lounge and our registration table will all be available at that location.  Registration table will be open Monday at 9:00am.

Carrier Meet and Greet this event is scheduled immediately following the President George W. Bush General Session on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:30 am.  This event will ensure that Program Administrator attendees will be able to connect with all of our carrier members.  Think of it as program business speed dating!

Carrier Meetings – There are several hours of meeting opportunities with decision makers from our Carrier Partners on Tuesday from 1:00-5:00pm.  Onsite contact information for carriers will be available at the TMPAA registration desk.

Association Receptions – We have two evening Networking Receptions on Monday and Tuesday starting at 5:00pm.  Plan to attend both!

Workshops – Workshops are scheduled for Wednesday following the General Session.  No pre-registration is necessary.

  • Understanding the Role of Reinsurance and Risk Models – Control Your Program Destiny
  • How to Make Carriers Compete for your Program Business
  • Financial Analysis for Insurance Professionals [CE Credit Course]

TMPAA Trade Show – Schedule a time to review the products from all our Association vendors.  Meetings with our vendors are scheduled at their trade show tables.  The vendor trade show opens at 1:00pm on Monday and remains open until Wednesday morning.

Click Here to view information pages on all our Vendors.

General Sessions – Please plan to attend the General Sessions on Tuesday at 8:30am and Wednesday at 8:00am.  We will be providing a few important updates about our Association before turning the spotlight over to Keynote speakers, President George W. Bush on Tuesday and William R. Berkley on Wednesday.

TMPAA Charities "Packages from Home" – Support our troops by stopping at our table in the Vendor Trade Show.  Pack a box and write a letter of support to one of our service men and women serving in active duty areas of the world.

Name Tags – We made it easy to locate Members, Carriers, Vendors and Non Member attendees by color coding the name tags. Carrier Partners are yellow, Vendor Partners are blue, Agency Members are white and Non Member attendees are red.

the
TMPAA Charities Networking Golf Tournament

The proceeds from our networking Golf Tournament is the primary funding source for TMPAA Charities.

Unlike other golf events, pairings in this tournament are made to maximize the networking opportunities between Carriers, Program Administrators and Vendors.  Our Tournaments have all been tremendous successes.

Plan to arrive early and enjoy this networking opportunity.  Our Tournament is designed for golfers of all skill (or lack there of) levels.

This year's Tournament will be played at the event hotel.

The TMPAA Charities Board has chosen to once again work with a local Phoenix Area group that supports our active military men and women.

TMPAA Charities will be purchasing the contents of 150 packages that our group will pack, secure in boxes, and then ship to our service men and women around the world.

Please plan to take a few minutes out of your three days at our Summit to stop by our trade show table to either pack a box for shipping, or write a note to a Service person who will be receiving the package.

Let us know if you have a family member to whom we can direct one of our packages.

Thank you.
